The following are the available to use on the VM console (IS and LSS):

 

date – displays current system date and time. To set current system date/time, enter in the following format:

AVDS > date MMDDhhmmYYYY

halt – safely shuts down AVDS server

reboot – safely reboots AVDS server

enable – enables console restriction via a password

disable – disables console restriction

service ssh start – activates Secure Shell for remote diagnostics/troubleshooting

service ssh stop – deactivates Secure Shell for remote diagnostics/troubleshooting

rlb admin – resets Web GUI password to factory default

rlb server – resets server to factory default

show – displays configuration settings

save - saves configuration. Must be used after a configuration change, or settings will not be saved after reboot.

quit – returns to main AVDS prompt

help – displays list of available commands

network – network configuration utility. See sub-commands below.

interface – sets active network interfaces, ex. “network interface eth0”

network interface eth0 

ip – display or set IP address

netmask – display or set subnet mask

broadcast – display or set broadcast addresses

dhcp – display or set use of DHCP

save – saves configuration

exit – returns to parent menu

vlans – sets active VLANs on network interface, e.x. “network vlans eth0”

route – enter route configuration mode

gateway – display or set default gateway address, e.x. “network gateway 192.168.1.1”

ns - configure DNS, e.x. ns 8.8.8.8

ping – ping destination address

arp – displays ARP table

ifconfig – displays network interface table

netstat – displays the network routing table

traceroute – traceroute destination address

telnet – telnet to destination

show – shows network configuration

devices – shows devices

hosts – view and modify the etc/hosts file

save – saves configuration. Must be used after a configuration change, or settings will not be saved after reboot.
