The beSECURE only allows one license in the system that has no IP range or hostname restrictions. The majority of the licenses issued by Beyond Security only limit the number of IP addresses and/or hostnames being scanned rather than the scope of the scans.
To determine the scope of your existing or new license, look for the following in the new license file: Regex = .*
Or, if you are looking at your existing license on the AVDS, you will see "Default License" under the Regex column.
If you are using an older version of AVDS and your license expires, no lines will be visible when accessing the Admin > Licenses window on your AVDS management server. In this scenario, if you try to install another default license the "You can have only one default license." error will appear.
To fix this error and update to a valid license, do the following:
- Log in to beSECURE with administrative privileges.
- In the upper-left corner of the Home page, select DevOps.
- Select Admin > Deployment > Licenses.
- Sort the Expiration Date column to group the licenses that have expired.
- Select an expired license.
- Copy the license key you received into the License Key box.
- Select Modify.
