Credential storage allows you to save the login details for Windows or SSH (for Linux servers) in beSECURE for authenticated scans. You can use saved credentials for multiple scans or when another scanning user needs to set up a scan using saved details. The owner’s information does not have to be shared with others.

If you are adding credentials for another user, move the user from the Available list to the Assigned list. This will allow the Assigned user to create an authenticated scan (or edit an existing scan) using the saved credentials.

To add credentials in beSECURE, do the following:

  1. Log in to beSECURE with administrative privileges.
  2. In the upper-left corner of the Home page, select DevOps.
  3. Select Scans > Credential Storage.
  4. Select the Newbutton.
  5. Provide a Name for the scan, move the appropriate contacts/groups from the Available list to the Assigned list, and then select a Storage Location.
  6. Select Create.
