When you delete an item in beSECURE (scan, organization, etc.), it is put in a “Deleted” state and not permanently removed from the database in the traditional sense. This allows you to reverse your decision at any time and restore (undelete) the item to a normal state. Once you undelete an item, the “Deleted" badge is removed, and you can resume using it as before.

You can delete/undelete the following items in beSECURE:

  • Scans and Web Scans
  • Credential Storage
  • Accounts
  • Contacts
  • Account Profiles and Security Profiles
  • Organizations
  • LSS
  • Asset Groups

Undeleting an item

To undelete an item, do the following:

  1. Log in to beSECURE.
  2. Go to the item you want to undelete (this example uses an Organization).
  3. Select the down arrow in the search box.
  4. Select Show Deleted.
  5. Select Search.
  6. Select an item that contains the Deleted badge.
  7. Select Undelete.
