When you delete an item in beSECURE (scan, organization, etc.), it is put in a “Deleted” state and not permanently removed from the database in the traditional sense. This allows you to reverse your decision at any time and restore (undelete) the item to a normal state. Once you undelete an item, the “Deleted" badge is removed, and you can resume using it as before.
You can delete/undelete the following items in beSECURE:
- Scans and Web Scans
- Credential Storage
- Accounts
- Contacts
- Account Profiles and Security Profiles
- Organizations
- LSS
- Asset Groups
Undeleting an item
To undelete an item, do the following:
- Log in to beSECURE.
- Go to the item you want to undelete (this example uses an Organization).
- Select the down arrow in the search box.
- Select Show Deleted.
- Select Search.
- Select an item that contains the Deleted badge.
- Select Undelete.
