Enabling Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) Using a One-Time Password (OTP) Authenticator

 

To enable two-factor authentication using a one-time password authenticator:

 

  1. Log in to beSECURE.

  2. From the Home page, click on your username in the top-right corner, and then select Account. 

  1. On the Account Details page, click on the Password tab.

  2. Click the 2FA Type box, and then select OTP (Microsoft Authenticator / Google Authenticator). 

  3. Click Enroll. 

  4. A unique QR code appears on the page.

  5. Download the Microsoft Authenticator or Google Authenticator app to your smartphone. 

  6. Once the desired authenticator app is installed, open it, and then scan the QR code. 

  7. Enter the PIN provided by the authenticator app in the box located below the QR code.

  8. Click Verify. Two-factor authentication is now enabled for your username.

 

Now, each time you log in to beSECURE, you will be prompted to enter a PIN number generated by the authenticator app you installed on your phone.
